The lazy, crazy, hazy days of summer

We’re in the middle of a summer in the northern hemisphere. A bit cold for our usual summer temperatures and too rainy. But still it’s summer!

Every year we spend our summer holidays in Croatia. We go there for at least 14 days, every time on some other island. Croatia is a place, where we feel like at home. Our days are spent relaxing, enjoying the beach and the sea, reading lots of books and strolling around the small seaside towns.

But this year we decided to go somewhere a bit different. We’ll be visiting 4 islands in Greece – Mykonos, Paros, Naxos and Santorini. We’ll spend 4 days on every island, so it we’ll be more active summer holiday, than we’re used to. We can’t wait. But we’ll go there only in a month’s time. So until than we’ve prepared a little summer collage to help us get through the waiting time.

kolaž5What’s not to love about summer? The sun comes out, weather gets warmer and vacations begin. It’s the time when most of people travel somewhere, even if only for a short time.

  1. I love summer because it’s usually the only time of year I can find the time to travel! Your summer trip is going to be awesome. Exploring the Greek Isles will be unforgettable, I’m sure. I can’t wait to read all about it 🙂 Great photos too!!

Are you still in Columbia? Love reading your posts, hoping someday they’ll help us planning a trip there as well 😉
